What is Distributed Audio / Video?
It simply is a way to centrally locate a source such as a DVD player, CD player, radio tuner, MP3, and etc... and have it play in other areas of the home or office. You can listen to the morning news in the master bedroom or bath as you get ready for the day. Have light background music for an evening meal. Listen to your favorite radio station throughout the day. All without having stacks of audio equipment in each room.
Distributed audio / video comes in two flavors: single source or multiple source. Single source is every room listens to the same thing at the same time. Multisource is when each room has the ability to listen to a different source from the other rooms.
